We are very easy to find: most people who come to the mountain know where the hang-gliders take off to soar over the western edge of the mountain - we are in West Road, on the opposite side, and 100 metres to the north.
From the Gold Coast (north) or Brisbane -
take the Tamborine-Oxenford Road to Tamborine Mountain
(approx. 20minutes from the Pacific Motorway). Follow the road all
the way (as it becomes Macdonnell Rd), through Gallery Walk, through
the roundabout and along Long Road for about 2kms.
Turn right into Hartley Rd, then left into Main Western Road.
West Road is a few hundred metres on the left, opposite the Rotary lookout.
For those approaching from Nerang, follow the signs along Nerang-Beaudesert Road: turn right into Henri Robert Drive, and stay on the road all the way up the Mountain. Turn right at the T-junction once you have passed the golf course (plenty of signs), and left at the next roundabout. Simply follow the road until just past the hang-gliding take-off area, and West Rd is on your right.
